Noor joined the SOS Coalition in August 2023. She is an intersectional activist and feminist focusing on youth issues, climate justice, and media freedom. She is passionate about social justice and working collaboratively to strengthen human rights in South Africa. She has a background in psychology and has previously been involved with different organisations such as Amnesty International South Africa, Unicef and the Palestine Solidarity Alliance. Her work was recognised by Amnesty International South Africa when she was awarded the Youth Activist of the Year Award in 2021, and by the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation which recognised and honoured as one of 10 active youth leaders who are contributing to the work of strengthening democracy in South Africa.

As the Campaigns’ Coordinator her focus is on developing strategic campaigns which further the SOS mission and objectives. She is passionate about public service media and believes that the media has a crucial role to play in shaping our democratic society. She is committed to furthering accessibility to free-to-air public interest content for all.
