The SOS: Support Public Broadcasting Coalition and South African Screen Federation (SASFED) submission to the Broadcasting Regulatory Review at the ICASA Conference, 20-21 February 2012, focuses on what is needed of the Broadcasting Regulatory Environment. The submission stresses the need for the following of the Broadcasting Regulatory Environment:
a) Transparent, participative DOC-driven Broadcasting Policy Review;
b) Amendments to Broadcasting Legislation; and,
c) rectification of the crisis in monitoring and enforcement which ICASA has failed to do effectively
